Mary's Woods, a premier senior living community located in Lake Oswego, has an opening for a Maintenance Porter who will bring their professional experience to Mary's Woods.

As a Maintenance Porter, you will be part of the team that is responsible for deliveries, general maintenance, and clean-up of the buildings and grounds of Mary’s Woods. You will be contributing to the maintenance, upkeep, and operations of the premises to create a safe and beautiful community for residents and their guests to enjoy. You must be able to relate positively and favorably to staff, residents, and families, and enjoy working on a team.

Below are some of the core responsibilities, experience, and skills needed to be successful:

  • Responsible for assisting with the set-up and clean-up for special functions at Mary's Woods
  • Empty trash and recycle bins
  • Deliver mail and packages to residents, sisters, and employees
  • Ensure that all areas remain neat and free of litter
  • Perform “trash-out” duties at vacated apartments, removing all abandoned furniture, trash, boxes, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance on property efficiently to respond to the needs of Mary's Woods

Education and Experience Required:

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to the completion of a High School Diploma
  • Must have a current valid drivers license

Shifts Available:

  • Tuesday - Saturday 12:00pm - 8:30pm
  • Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Employees at Mary’s Woods are mandated by state law to be fully vaccinated. Candidates who are offered a position at Mary’s Woods will be required to provide proof of vaccination or complete the OHA Medical or Religious Exception form. Sign On Bonus: $250.00 bonus paid 50% at 90 days and 50% paid at 6 months. To be eligible you must be in good standing and have acceptable attendance. Current employees and past employees that have not been separated from employment for at least 1 year are not eligible.
